Cross Plains Community Partner, Inc. is a non-profit agency providing services to adults with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to be a partner in creating a community where all people have the opportunity for choice, leadership and employment.
Cross Plains is seeking a part-time staff to provide direct support to individuals receiving services. These services are provided within our center and within the local community. Staff assist people in making and maintaining community connections, affiliations, volunteering and activities of daily living. Staff encourage individuals to learn and experience new things. Candidates must be ablet to provide safe transportation, remain alert to each individual and their support needs during each shift. Candidates must also be able to listen and demonstrate a general understanding of all work-related information. Candidates who enjoy engaging and contributing to their local community are preferred.
Qualifications:
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Caring attitude, person centered, and genuine interest in people and in understanding each person’s “uniqueness”
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid GA Driver’s License
