Case and Label Supervisor
Location: Geneva NY

Position Summary:
The Case and Label Supervisor oversees all daily labeling operations, from brite to finished items, while managing warehouse functions. This role ensures product labeling meets quality standards, operational efficiencies are achieved, and schedules align with shipping deadlines. The position is critical to maintaining seamless warehouse operations and achieving customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule labeling operations to meet production and shipping deadlines.
- Supervise labeling office personnel and warehouse staff, ensuring clear communication of shortfalls or issues with production and customer service representatives (CSRs).
- Monitor label line efficiency, manage inventory of direct materials, and coordinate with purchasing for timely procurement.
- Ensure compliance with Warehouse Systems Manual and Quality Manual.
- Maintain labeling equipment and coordinate necessary repairs with maintenance staff.
- Promote safety by enforcing workplace safety regulations and participating in the Safety Committee.
- Prepare monthly and end-of-month reports, including downtime records, line changes, and production metrics.
- Notify Quality Assurance (QA) of any product issues to maintain high standards of output.
- Assist with physical inventory preparation and serve as backup for label coordination tasks.
- Oversee employee scheduling, including hours and vacation planning, to maintain operational continuity.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.
- 25 years of related supervisory experience in warehousing or labeling operations.
- In-depth knowledge of labeling requirements and warehouse management systems such as GEM and SAP.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel, or stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent walking and standing on concrete floors.
Accountability:
The Case and Label Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient operations within the labeling and warehouse departments. Poor planning or oversight can negatively impact customer service and overall business operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role has full supervisory responsibility for all warehouse Case & Label employees and group leaders, including workflow management, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, and participation in the hiring process.
