Job Title : RF Electrical Engineer 2nd Shift Production Support

Shift : Second Shift, On-Site (3 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled RF Electrical Engineer to join our team and provide hands-on production support during the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have expertise in RF and mixed-signal electronics testing and troubleshooting complex circuit card assemblies. This role requires a self-starter with strong technical abilities and a collaborative mindset to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide production support for RF and mixed-signal electronics during the second shift.
Test, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to RF hardware and circuit card assemblies (CCAs).
Conduct RF measurements, including phase noise, spurious signals, S-parameters, and X-parameters.
Use RF test equipment such as Digital Multimeters (DMM), Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Phase Noise Analyzers to debug and troubleshoot failures.
Interpret schematics, test instructions, and test requirements to identify root causes and provide hardware disposition.

Required Qualifications

Experience :

5 years of hands-on experience in RF and / or mixed-signal electronics testing.

Proven ability to debug complex circuit card assemblies.

Proficiency with RF test measurements and equipment.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) .

A combination of a technical degree and relevant experience may be considered.

Preferred Skills

Ability to work independently and take initiative as a self-starter.

In-depth knowledge of high-performance Digital Receiver and Exciters (DREX) and mixed-signal processing electronics unit RF CCAs.

Familiarity with environmental and production test equipment, as well as RF hardware and software integration.

Strong analytical skills to connect requirements to test results and make hardware failure dispositions.

Success Metrics

Effectively test, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with RF electrical hardware.

Collaborate efficiently with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to address and resolve issues.

Work Culture

Team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Emphasis on coordination across departments to achieve production goals and resolve challenges.
