What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Maintenance Technician position at Cross Resource Group?
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Cross Resource Group. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, welding, and installing equipment as required. You will also inspect, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the facility, troubleshoot and repair problems, and read blueprints and sketches to determine layout for assigned work.
The successful candidate will possess some post-high school education or training in mechanical repair and equipment maintenance, as well as knowledge of hand and power tools. Good written and oral communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to be physically fit, able to lift moderate to heavy weights (up to 100 lbs), and carry up to 50 lbs. You will also need to be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as well as be on-call.
