As a skilled Maintenance Equipment Specialist at Cross Resource Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect, repair, and maintain various machinery and equipment throughout the facility. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing machinery as needed, as well as reading blueprints and sketches to determine layout for assigned work.
The ideal candidate will have some post-high school education or training in mechanical repair and equipment maintenance. You should possess knowledge of hand and power tools, as well as good written and oral communication skills. Additionally, you must be capable of working independently on individual projects and as part of a team on larger projects.
In this role, you will also be responsible for completing PO requests to order parts and supplies for the department. You will need to maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed, as well as monitor equipment operation and make necessary adjustments. Furthermore, you will assist in training new and junior mechanics.
