• Day Shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Night Shift: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
• Schedule: Monday through Sunday, with one day off every 13 days.
  
  

Off Pack Season (November - June):

• Shifts Available:
• Day Shift Only: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off).
  
  

Compensation:

• Pay range: $26.74 - $30.72 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  
  

Maintenance Mechanic I

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing food processing equipment to ensure smooth operations during both the production and non-production periods.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace machinery as required.
• Read blueprints and sketches to determine layout for assigned work.
• Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and preventive maintenance completed.
• Monitor equipment operations and make adjustments as needed.
• Assist with ordering parts and supplies for the department.
• Provide training and guidance to junior Mechanics.
  
  

Key Qualifications:

• Ability to use hand and power tools, including welders (MIG & TIG) and torch cutters.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Strong mechanical repair and equipment maintenance knowledge.
• Attention to detail when working with diagrams, prints, and manuals.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education or training is beneficial.
• Five years of maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial setting.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, reach, push, pull, twist, squat, and bend during shifts.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various weather conditions, machinery noise, and wet floors.
  
  

Safety Requirements:

• Must wear required personal protective equipment such as bump hats, eye and ear protection, and other safety gear as necessary.
