POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Plans and schedules Maintenance Work Orders on a daily basis and meets the objectives of the plant regarding timely Repair/Installation and Maintenance of Plant Equipment. Conducts required Predictive Maintenance activities on a routine schedule to prevent unplanned breakdowns.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generates Preventive, Predictive and Corrective work orders from Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Closes work orders in Maintenance Management System (CMMS) when tasks are completed. Adjusts work orders in relation to priority and effectively communicates the changes to the Maintenance Supervisor. Assist if necessary in preparation of the weekly maintenance work schedule in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor and Operations.
- Provides insight on the scope of all corrective work orders and orders parts and materials to ensure the job is completed in a timely manner.
- Assists the Maintenance Supervisor & peers with accomplishing the tasks at hand in a timely manner.
- Works with Operations, and Maintenance Supervisor to identify areas of opportunity to schedule work during periods of downtime.
- Participates in weekly, bi-weekly and monthly Predictive Maintenance functions such as vibration analysis, Infrared Scans & oil analysis to prevent unplanned breakdowns.
- Prepares reports for Maintenance Supervisor as necessary for compliance and budgetary requirements.
- Works with the Maintenance Supervisor to assist, and maintain, the maintenance department budget
- Assist with maintenance activities as needed but not limited to PM's and repairs.
