Cross Resource Group is seeking a highly skilled Plant Mechanic Position to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing food processing equipment, completing repairs during the processing season to meet production goals, and overhauling and installing plant equipment during non-production periods to ensure readiness for the next scheduled production run.
The ideal candidate will possess some post-high school education or training in mechanical repair and equipment maintenance, as well as knowledge of hand and power tools. Good written and oral communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to be physically fit, able to lift moderate to heavy weights (up to 100 lbs), and carry up to 50 lbs. You will also need to be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as well as be on-call.
