What We're Looking For
Cross River’s Lender Finance team is looking for an experienced Lender Finance Relationship Manager to join the team and support business growth. The position will be responsible for monitoring ongoing portfolio performance within the Lender Finance team and may also be called upon to help with closing and structuring new loans on an as needed basis. The person is expected to independently manage the lender finance loan portfolio from loan closing to loan repayment, and to help manage and coordinate with a team of loan servicers, underwriters, and analysts.

What We're Looking For
Cross River’s Lender Finance team is looking for an experienced Lender Finance Relationship Manager to join the team and support business growth. The position will be responsible for monitoring ongoing portfolio performance within the Lender Finance team and may also be called upon to help with closing and structuring new loans on an as needed basis. The person is expected to independently manage the lender finance loan portfolio from loan closing to loan repayment, and to help manage and coordinate with a team of loan servicers, underwriters, and analysts.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain oversight of the lender finance portfolio, including managing ongoing relationships with borrowers, monitoring loan covenants and borrower deliverables, and tracking compliance with all terms of the underlying loans
- Analyze borrower-prepared and third-party reports including financial statements, borrowing base certificates, appraisals, insurance, engineering reports, and collateral field examinations
- Manage the asset pledge process and borrowing bases
- Identify potential risks, propose constructive solutions for portfolio concerns, and establish and negotiate terms for approval
- Manage the process for extensions, amendments, and waivers on existing loans
- Oversee relationships with loan syndication partners
- Prepare risk rating evaluations and portfolio level credit monitoring to risk management on a timely basis
- Assist and coordinate with the underwriting of new lender finance loans and pledges on an as needed basis
- Participate in special projects and requests related to the management of the portfolio and the overall lender finance lending effort
- Build and maintain industry relationships and identify possible new loan opportunities
- Maintain current knowledge of internal policies, as well as economic, financial, political, and legislative trends to determine possible impacts on lending trends
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 5-10 years of experience in a portfolio management, credit analysis, or loan underwriting role with a strong preference in lender finance
- Strong understanding of credit policies and procedures and the ability to appropriately assess and monitor the risk associated with new and existing loans;
- High proficiency in financial statement analysis and Excel-based modeling;
- Experience with loan structuring and legal documentation review
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Detailed-oriented and self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic
- Well organized and able to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Willingness to travel
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred

Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
