What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative-Ticket Agent position at Cross Sound Ferry Services?
Cross Sound Ferry is seeking flexible, responsible, and motivated individuals to work at our Orient Point Ferry Terminal. We are currently hiring for inside ticket agents. We operate a busy terminal, where you will assist customers traveling aboard ferries to Connecticut and aboard our Lighthouse Cruises by issuing tickets and directing customers to staging areas and to vessels for boarding. We are looking for candidates with excellent communication and customer service skills. All positions are seasonal with potential for year-round full-time employment. Applicants must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
Pay: $18/hr
Primary duties include, but not limited to:
- Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Check in, change reservations, and issue tickets using desktop computers and printers
- Accept payment for sale of tickets
- Explain policies and procedures to customers
- Help clean and maintain terminal, restrooms, and terminal property
