About Cross Street Flower Farm:
Our flower fields at the historic Jacobs Farm explode with color from early Spring through late fall. Our farm tells the story of the seasons through flowers, beginning with Tulips and Daffodils blooming in the fields in April, Ranunculus and Poppies in May, and Sweet Peas and Peonies in June. Our fields hit their peak with a mass of Zinnias, Sunflowers and so many more varieties of beautiful flowers all summer, ending with our magnificent Dahlias in the fall.
We grow over 50 varieties of specialty cut flowers using the most sustainable, natural methods possible. We have over 700 flower share members and were voted Best Floral CSA in 2021. We host workshops and Cut Your Own Bouquet events on the farm and have a seasonal Flower Shop in the historic barn. Our online Shop features our flower shares, weekly flower specials, seedlings and bulbs for your garden as well as tools, supplies, and gifts.
Our Mission and Values:
To bring joy and cultivate beauty and community - one flower, one bouquet, one experience on our farm at a time.
Delivering the highest quality flowers. We are dedicated to delivering the most beautiful blooms our customers have ever seen. We won’t give a stem to a customer that we aren’t super proud of growing.
Respecting the land. We respect the geography and history of our farm, and work with the land and soil in the most sustainable and positive way. We believe that one size does not fit all, in farming and in life. Our approach is to observe, learn and view nature as our partner.
Acting with courage. We challenge the status quo and find new ways to grow our flowers, our business, and each other. We work hard and love getting our hands dirty to create something beautiful together.
Cultivating a sense of community. We create a culture of warmth and belonging at our farm, where everyone is welcome, especially the birds, bees, and butterflies.
