Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing calibration, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of industrial and commercial scales. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial scales, laboratory balances, and other weighing equipment.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure scales meet regulatory and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty scales or weighing systems as necessary.
- Record calibration data and generate detailed reports for customers and internal use.
- Assist with the installation of new weighing equipment and systems.
- Maintain calibration equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures while working.
- Communicate with clients and customers regarding service needs, status updates, and calibration results.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and new technologies related to scale calibration.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in calibration, electronics, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with scales, calibration equipment, or a similar technical field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for travel to client sites).

Schedule:
