Crossbar is seeking a meticulous QA Engineer to ensure our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. The QA Engineer will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our product’s reliability and user experience. This position requires a strong focus on manual QA, browser testing, and some automated testing.
Candidates need to be local to the St. Louis, MO area, as this role does require some in-office time with our team.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the full product development lifecycle: requirements analysis, test planning, execution, and reporting
• Perform manual testing on various browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness
• Conduct mobile testing, particularly with React Native applications
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution
• Conduct performance and security testing to ensure robustness and data protection
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality
• Provide peer feedback and participate in test case reviews
Qualifications
• Proven experience in manual QA and browser testing
• Experience with mobile testing, preferably React Native
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
• Experience with bug tracking or ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA, Linear)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Experience or interest in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus
• Knowledge of performance and security testing methodologies and tools
