Position Overview
The Processing Manager is responsible for ensuring CrossCountry Mortgage provides exceptional customer service and file quality. This role oversees the pre-processing team by obtaining and verifying necessary documentation for underwriting the loan file and communicates directly with third party vendors and/or Loan Officer to obtain documentation for initial loan approval. The Processing Manager collaborates with the Operations Manager daily.

The Processing Manager collaborates with the Operations Manager daily.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the pre-processing team to ensure allotted time frames are met while managing the pipeline and assisting in daily training.
- Communicate with various companies to obtain vendor information including, but not limited to, verification of employment, flood certificate, title commitment, subordinations, tax transcripts, FHA and VA case numbers, homeowner’s insurance, condo questionnaires, and payoff information.
- Verify vendor orders are completed and returned, and invoices are received and documented.
- Obtain a complete loan package of order out documents before submitting to Senior Processor. Verify all required documentation in the file is complete and accurate.
- Deliver completely documented files to the Senior Processor which are ready for initial underwrite.
- Complete file contact information as applicable to each loan.
- Directly communicate with customers to obtain missing documentation required for the loan, as necessary.
- Assist Closing, Secondary, and Servicing to obtain documentation needed to clear outstanding suspense items for personal loans worked on and/or loans worked on from other transition team members.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
- Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations, Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements, and loan documents, preferred.
- Previous experience with Encompass 360.
- Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Pay Range
- Base Pay: $55,000.00-60,000.00
- Bonus: Eligible for per file bonus
- The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
