Job Description
CWS is currently looking for a responsible Yard spotter/ Forklift Operator for safely moving semi-trucks and trailers within the yard area, and coordinating with other team members to ensure all dock doors are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner.
When not operating yard truck will help out with unloading/loading.
Responsibilities:
· Understand and apply policies and procedures within the company.
· Move full/empty trailers from yard to or from docks and ensuring the yard remains clear of trailers to facilitate the flow of traffic in a timely manner.
· Help load/unload freight when not busy with yard traffic.
· Responsible for guiding large, industrial trucks or trailers in and out of the shipping yard, and to and from loading doors.
Requirements
· Must have at least 2 years of previous experience in a similar job.
· Bilingual (preferred).
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including Saturday.
· Ability to follow systems and procedures consistently.
· Responsible with strong communication and safety skills.
