Senior Project Engineer

Your Responsibilities :
- Oversee construction projects from a field office, ensuring all studies, designs, and office services align with project requirements.
- Manage project construction contracts, administer construction contracts, and implement quality plans to ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Implement environmental compliance procedures, manage project schedules and budgets, assist with public outreach, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Supervise and guide daily field inspections conducted by staff.
- Maintain accurate records of construction site activities and create reports outlining progress, safety, quality, schedule, and budget status.
- Review submittals including drawings, product data, and samples from contractors.
- Prepare a variety of written documents such as correspondence, proposals, reports, and performance evaluations.
- Document the construction process through daily reports, conduct weekly progress meetings, and maintain project files.
- Serve as the primary contact between the Contractor and external stakeholders.
- Direct and supervise inspectors to ensure compliance with established project management policies.
- Manage responsibilities assigned to all team members reporting to this position.
- Review and recommend approvals for change requests and value engineering proposals.
- Identify when contractual action is needed and coordinate with construction management for proper resolution.
- Assist in developing project-specific system shutdown plans during construction.
- Work independently and make sound decisions regarding ongoing construction work and resolve field issues efficiently.

Compensation :
The final compensation package will be commensurate with work experience, education, and / or skills, along with internal equity and alignment with local market data. The compensation package includes a base salary range of $177,000 - $200,000, plus bonus opportunities.
