Title : Business / Financial Analyst - V
Duration : 6 months, can extend up to 30 months
Location : Basking Ridge, NJ is the only office location
Hybrid : in office Mon, Tues & Wed and WFH on Thurs & Fri
- Will be part of finance organization supporting the sales organization
- Important to have finance and / or FP&A background
- Excel strong / advanced is essential; has built models before; write formulas; think analytically; pivot tables
- Experience analyzing data and extracting insights for sales team
- Client uses a lot of sql (not required but nice to have, or coding nice to have)
- Be a backup for presenting to sales team / leaders able to create slides / visuals
- Minimum bachelor s degree
- 5-8 years experience minimum
Job Description :
Extensive experience working with financial systems and models (complex excel models)
Evaluate business results and serve as a functional specialist to the business client.
Interpret and evaluate monthly analyses of business trends, including budget variance of financial results and Key Performance Indicators to identify areas of risk and opportunities
Partner with the business to develop costing / profitability models and reports.
Designing, developing, and implementing methods and strategies to continually improve processes
Ability to multi-task with prioritization of deliverables
Nice to Have : Experience with SQL
Provide strategic guidance and insights during the analysis process.
Provide insights and recommendations based on trended KPIs & financial results
