About the Role
As a Network Equipment Engineer , you will play a key role in ordering, tracking, and managing network equipment to meet design specifications. You will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the successful deployment of 4G and 5G technologies, aligning with maintenance engineering standards and the regional plan-of-record goals. Your expertise in vendor management, project oversight, and equipment integration will drive network improvements and optimize operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Order and manage network equipment for 4G and 5G projects.
- Track equipment orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Create statements of work for engineering projects.
- Oversee multiple projects, engaging cross-functional teams for seamless execution.
- Maintain accurate project milestones and documentation in management tools.
- Act as a subject matter expert on tools, equipment, and wireless engineering workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for installations.
- Collaborate with teams including RF Design, Operations, Real Estate, Construction, and System Performance.
- Support power company engagement for real estate and construction teams.
- Manage project lifecycles, including creation, cancellations, and status updates in Fuze.
- Communicate deployment schedules and priorities with vendors.
