We are seeking an experienced Procurement Contract Manager to oversee the procurement of materials and services for our nuclear projects division. This role will be responsible for managing the complete contract lifecycle, from development and negotiation to review and award, while ensuring compliance with nuclear project requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Lead procurement initiatives as the Subject Matter Expert for nuclear projects, managing both planned and emergent work requirements while maintaining compliance with Enterprise policies and procedures.
- Drive the complete procurement lifecycle, including supplier identification, qualification assessment, RFP development, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation for materials and services.
- Develop and administer contracts while coordinating with the nuclear procurement operations team to ensure seamless integration of purchase orders and contractual requirements.
- Implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize procurement processes and maintain strong supplier relationships while adhering to nuclear industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent of 5 years procurement experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation, development, and supplier relationship management within a procurement organization
- Working knowledge of Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and Contract Law principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (Ariba, SAP)
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
- Experience with nuclear and industrial improvement projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of innovative sourcing solutions
- Experience working in regulated industries or complex technical environments
