What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Technology Engineer position at Crossfire Consulting?
Job Responsibilities for the Associate Technology Engineer:
- The position will primarily be focus on supporting the building and maintenance of the CYME equipment and Network database.
- Develop one line substation drawing in CYME software.
- Maintain and update CYME distribution model that integrated with GIS and PI system.
- Experience working directly with an electric utility or an electric utility consulting company, performing design engineering
- Design, configuration, development, documentation and testing of CYME Applications solutions to meet business or technology requirements.
- Evaluation of existing CYME application solutions to determine fit for purpose for the new business or technology requirements.
- Recommendation of technology alternatives.
- Collaboration with other individuals to ensure proper integration of the new technology solution with the existing technology solutions.
- Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert with a deep understanding of business needs on product capabilities by defining business requirements, performing quality assurance & define reporting and alerting requirements.
- Own and develop day to day relationship with partners, working with them to optimize and enhance integration as well as establish a deep understanding of our customers’
- Provide product expertise in regards to functional needs and processes
- Align and support with strategic direction of broader IT organization.
- Contribute to the strategic vision/plans and identify product enhancements that improve customer experience and simplify current landscape
- Facilitate and coordinate external benchmarking/best practice efforts and relationships with other business organizations
- Provide specific contributions as directed by Product Leader
