About The Role
We are seeking an experienced IAM Consultant to develop and maintain our Enterprise-wide Identity Access Management (IAM) operations. As our IAM Consultant, you will be responsible for securing and expanding the foundation of our IAM infrastructure across all agencies, ensuring robust security measures and efficient access management systems.
IAM Consultant Responsibilities
- Lead the development, support, and maintenance of the centralized Identity Access Management (IAM) System security infrastructure across all agencies
- Design and implement IAM solutions for heterogeneous environments, including managing the Enterprise-wide IAM Vault and associated systems
- Establish and maintain approval workflows for application connectivity, coordinating the build-out of IAM connectors to requested applications
- Oversee web interfaces for user logins and password self-service systems, ensuring 24/7 availability of production applications
- Manage and validate security patches, upgrades, and advanced authentication methods for the Directory infrastructure
- Conduct security-related access certifications and audits, participating in disaster recovery drills
- Research and implement emerging user authentication technologies
- Collaborate with DevSecOps practices to ensure early vulnerability detection and remediation
Essential Skills
- Extensive experience in Identity Access Management systems and enterprise-level implementations
- Strong technical background in Unix-Solaris, Java, Java frameworks, Web Services, and XML-based open source software
- Proficiency in Directory services (LDAP), Oracle Identity Management, and Oracle Virtual Directory
- Experience with web services security solutions and application integration concepts
- Demonstrated expertise in network account security, compliance, and access best practices
- Strong DevSecOps skillset focused on vulnerability detection and code review
- Experience with performance management tools, OIM connectors, and deployment/automation tools
- Knowledge of WEB-based APIs and Privilege Access Management (PAM) tools
- Proficiency in RBAC & application onboarding programs
- Experience with automated component and integration testing
- Excellent project management capabilities in large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to solve complex business problems
- Collaborative approach when working with team members, IT stakeholders, and business owners
- Must be available for off-hours support as needed
- Position requires participation in all disaster recovery drills
- Regular interaction with various agency stakeholders
