Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, interpret, and monitor government regulations affecting wireless communications
- Evaluate network projects for regulatory compliance and provide guidance to submarket teams
- Prepare and submit regulatory applications while monitoring their status
- Manage large-scale regulatory initiatives and compliance programs
- Develop and deliver regulatory training programs
- Partner with headquarters and submarket teams to streamline processes
- Oversee vendor management for regulatory filings including AM Studies, NEPA, and SHPO
- Ensure timely completion of FAA and FCC requirements
- Conduct self-audits for RF, Microwave, and tower operations
- Coordinate with Headquarters for construction and in-service approvals
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (FAA, FCC, NEPA, SHPO)
- Strong RF power calculation skills
- Experience with EME/RFE reports and RF test equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proven project management expertise
- Strong financial acumen
- Database management proficiency
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Master's degree
- Direct experience with FAA and FCC regulatory procedures
- Mapping expertise
- Knowledge of wireless communications engineering
- Proficiency in industry tools including:
- FUZE Modules
- RFDS Module
- Roof Master
- Airspace
- Tableau
- Site Tracker
- Experience with Ericsson infrastructure
- SQL or VB Scripting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills including VBA macro development
- Strong understanding of Telecommunication PO process
