Position Overview
The selected candidate will support environmental fate laboratory studies in a GLP-regulated facility . These studies involve the use of radio-labeled pesticide materials (14C) in natural soils, sediments, and waters to investigate pesticide metabolism, abiotic degradation, and mobility.
Key Requirement :
Candidates must be comfortable working with radio-labeled materials and adhere to strict safety protocols.
Skills Desired
Laboratory Practices
Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) .
- Experience working with radio-labeled materials (carbon-14) .
- Proficiency in :
Soil extractions.
Laboratory Equipment
Experience with :
Analytical / top loader balances.
General Lab Techniques
Wet chemistry skills :
Weighing samples.
