This is a long-term contract role with a pay rate of $80.00-$108.00 Possible extension or direct hire.
Location : Hybrid (3 days a week onsite at Oshkosh, WI 54902)
Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 1-year assignment with potential for conversion to full-time (dependent on performance and budget)

Position Overview
As a Senior Embedded Telematics Engineer , you will design, implement, and test high-quality vehicle control subsystem software. This role requires expertise in embedded C with Linux and CAN communication protocols, with the added advantage of IoT experience. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to develop and maintain telematics solutions that capture and process vehicle data for backend systems and third-party providers.
Your Impact
- Perform engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks following company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on plans, designs, computation methods, and reporting.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and object-oriented C software for embedded platforms.
- Peer review software and contribute to team activities such as estimation and design reviews.
- Develop and maintain requirements, test plans, and documentation for embedded systems.
- Conduct simulation and real-world testing to verify safety, reliability, and functionality.
- Support cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and external customers.
- Contribute to the development of comprehensive telematics and IoT solutions for vehicle systems.
