Our client, a major chemical manufacturer, is looking for a contract Logistics Clerk to join the team at their site in Geismar, LA.
THIS IS A LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH A PAY RATE OF $25 / HOUR (BENEFITS ARE AVAILABLE)
Job Overview :
Join our team as a Logistics Clerk , supporting supply chain operations in North America with best-in-class service. You’ll assist in front office logistics and distribution activities for customers in the Automotive Refinish market. This role directly reports to the Warehouse Manager / Supervisor.
Responsibilities : Core Duties :
- Process and schedule customer outbound delivery orders.
- Ensure accurate documentation, timely processing, and adherence to all Business Rules and SOPs.
- Monitor the Expected Shipment Queue within SAP.
- Update carrier Driver and Pro# information for outbound shipments and ensure timely Goods Issue.
- Track and report daily shipment activity.
- File and maintain customer shipping documentation.
- Participate actively in daily team meetings.
- Complete required safety and legal training.
- Route and monitor incoming calls to the facility.
