Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Transload Supervisor to oversee our transloading operations, combining the responsibilities of material handling and shipping/receiving supervisor. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage the flow of goods, ensure accurate inventory control, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities: ∙Manage day-to-day operations of the transload facility, including scheduling work assignments and coordinating with clients
∙Oversee the receiving, inspecting, and processing of incoming shipments
∙Organize and monitor inventory levels, reporting discrepancies or shortages ∙Coordinate outgoing shipments, including preparation of shipping documentation and scheduling with carriers
∙Operate and maintain material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks ∙Ensure proper storage and handling of all products and materials
∙Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments ∙Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures
∙Supervise and train staff in material handling and shipping/receiving procedures ∙Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
∙Perform quality control checks on items and resolve any issues
∙Maintain a clean and organized facility
Qualifications: ∙2 Years Verifiable experience in material handling and shipping/receiving operations
∙Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
∙Strong communication and interpersonal skills
∙Valid forklift operator's license/certification
∙Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment ∙Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA guidelines
∙Must have reliable Transportation and willingness to work at multiple warehouse locations.
∙Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
