Universal Banker

Overview

The Universal Banker provides extraordinary service and assistance to our Clients, the Bank's Relationship Banking team, and other Business lines of CrossFirst Bank. This position requires a high level of accuracy to comply with regulatory requirements and minimize risk.

Responsibilities

• Open personal checking, savings, CDs, and IRA accounts; open business checking accounts. Obtain appropriate documentation and follow-up with clients after account opening.
• Perform personal banking transactions for clients, such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Complete account maintenance for clients, such as address changes, debit cards, title changes and research requests; provide copies of checks, statements or other documents as requested.
• Assist Relationship Banking and other business lines with Account openings, CD renewals, and account maintenance.
• Serve as backup support for relationship banking team at other locations within the area.
• Possess a clear understanding of technical aspects and features and benefits of the Bank's products and services to effectively cross-sell additional products.
• Actively engage clients, listen for opportunities to provide recommendations and referrals to other business units to meet client needs .
• Provide guidance for maximizing FDIC coverage, assist clients with appropriate titling of accounts and respond to more complex client deposit needs.
• Respond to client questions or concerns in a friendly and helpful manner; research issues and escalate if necessary.
• Participate in business development strategies including Bank promotions, community involvement and cross selling efforts including follow up calls.
• Meet or exceed all goals, projects, and targets.
• Communicate effectively with Manager, especially if issues or concerns arise with ability to meet deadlines or provide appropriate coverage.
• Deliver services accurately and on time.
• Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
• Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
• Represent the Bank and Relationship Banking team in a highly professional manner.
• Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.
• Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Reliable and predictable on-site attendance.
