Job Requirements:
We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver who can transport lumber material to job sites and operate a truck-mounted Moffett forklift to unload the lumber at the job site.
The successful candidate will have a valid Class A CDL, current medical certification card, and a clean driving record. They will also be able to work independently and possess good time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicle in a professional, safe, and courteous manner
- Organize and secure cargo, ensuring each load is properly strapped for transportation
- Drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route and schedule, delivering items as instructed
- Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Abide by traffic laws, ensuring safe unloading and delivery to the destination
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Hold a valid Class A CDL, current medical certification card, and possess a clean driving record along with personal insurance
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Able to work independently and lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Excellent communication skills
