Job Title: Class A CDL Truck Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Crosslin Building Supply Inc. This is a full-time position responsible for transporting lumber material to job sites and driving a truck-mounted Moffett forklift to unload the lumber at the job site.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle in a safe and professional manner
• Organize and secure cargo, ensuring each load is properly strapped for transportation
• Drive a delivery truck on a predetermined route and schedule, delivering items as instructed
• Maintain a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Abide by traffic laws, ensuring safe unloading and delivery to the destination
• Ensure delivery trucks are clean and in good working condition, performing daily required maintenance checks and reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Class A CDL, current medical certification card, and clean driving record required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Able to work independently and lift up to 75 lbs
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Excellent communication skills

• At least 2 years of experience
• Ability to communicate and engage with people from various cultures and backgrounds
• Interact with customers and fellow employees in a professional and courteous manner
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to operate material handling equipment: forklifts and truck-mounted Moffett forklifts

Physical Demands

• Ability to sit or stand for lengthy periods of time, and lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to reach over-head to grasp materials, bend, stoop, or squat to the floor on a regular basis

Attendance

Good attendance is required. Normal Monday – Friday schedules with available overtime.
