Job Summary
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as a healthcare traveler in Cumberland, MD. You will be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care with other health team members, monitoring patients' responses to interventions, and reporting outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
- Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
- Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
- Transports patients as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At minimum 1-2 years' experience preferred
- Graduate from an accredited school
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Interpersonal skills: ability to work with diverse personnel (professional and support staff) while maintaining a positive demeanor and professional appearance
- Technical skills: ability to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment
- Cognitive demands: capable of managing frequent interactions with the public and customers and meeting deadlines under pressure
- Sensory skills: keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities
