Job Requirements:
As a Cath Lab Technologist at CrossMed Healthcare Staffing, you will be responsible for preparing and assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring all necessary information and equipment are available.
- Operate medical imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopes and ultrasound machines, to visualize patient anatomy and guide procedures.
- Assist physicians during procedures, including administering medications and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited program in cardiovascular technology or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a cath lab or related setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50-100 pounds, as well as push/pull and bend/pivot frequently.
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements.
