Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to laboring women, including administration of medications, monitoring of fetal heart rates, and maintenance of accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the United States.
- At least one year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse.
- Strong knowledge of labor and delivery nursing practices, including pharmacology and obstetric procedures.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to lift and move equipment, push/pull heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
- BLS certification and completion of ACLS course within six months of hire.
