**Job Title:** Travel Nurse RN Med Surg
Location: Pulaski, Virginia
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Shift: 12-hour overnight shift
We are seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team for a Med Surg assignment in Pulaski, Virginia. Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care with minimal supervision
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure effective patient outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered and document accordingly
- Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures
- Transport patients as needed and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a Med Surg setting
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Ability to lift equipment (50-100 lbs) and push/pull safely
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Technical skills including grasping, pushing/pulling, and moving
- Comfortable working under occasional close supervision or independently
- Keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities
