Job Summary
As a travel Surgical Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse personnel, grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment. You will also be capable of managing frequent interactions with the public and customers, meeting deadlines under pressure, and working under occasional close supervision or independently.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care with other health team members
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Perform various duties such as transporting patients, maintaining cleanliness of rooms, and adequate stock of supplies
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
- Graduate from an accredited school
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending, and pulling
