Job Summary
CrossMed is seeking a skilled and experienced travel CT technologist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
- Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to healthcare teams
- Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- At minimum 1-2 years' experience as a CT technologist
- Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending, and pulling
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
