HIRING RANGE: $50,000 - $57,500 annually
STATUS: Full Time, Exempt

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- Meets requirements for a Qualified Professional which are:
- Master's degree in a human services or related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year supervised clinical experience working with children and families; or
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field and two years' experience with the current population; or
- Bachelor's degree in a non-human services field and four years' experience with the current population
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred
- Experience supervising residential or group care living program staff strongly preferred
Skills
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to hold self and others accountable, provide constructive feedback, and foster professional growth.
- General knowledge of state child welfare and mental health systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Google software programs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A demonstrated passion for serving youth, families, and the youth-serving workforce.
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle crises with calm, and adapt quickly to changes.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel and drive a van.
- Lead with Purpose: Oversee the daily operations of residential programs, ensuring a safe, structured, and nurturing environment for all residents.
- Empower Your Team: Provide ongoing training, supervision, and support to Cottage Parents and staff, helping them excel in their roles and deliver high-quality care.
- Create a Therapeutic Environment: Implement evidence-based models like The Sanctuary Model and Love and Logic to foster a healing atmosphere.
- Manage with Excellence: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintain inspection-ready facilities, and manage budgets effectively.
- Champion Case Management: Oversee the creation and implementation of comprehensive Plans of Care, ensuring each child’s needs are met with compassion and precision.
- Build Strong Relationships: Collaborate with school staff, families, DSS, and community resources to support each child’s journey toward permanency and success.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Monday- Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm; to vary depending on program needs. Must be available to work nights and weekends as necessary, including occasional 24-hour periods when providing coverage in cottages. Work many involve travel to locations that range from human services agencies, clinics, hospitals, offices, and locations for field trips. May involve contact with clients and/or family members who may be hostile, resistant, and violent.
