Childcare Provider

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our MomCo team. Our MomCo group meets at a local Church every other Wednesday for 2 hours a day (9:30am - 11:30am). We are a biblically focused group and we need someone we can trust to play and watch over our children while meet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. This role involves engaging with children in various activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social development. The Childcare Provider will work closely with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being of each child.

Duties

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care at all times.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Including implementing a biblical-based curriculum.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages children's social skills through play and interaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare space to ensure a safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and caregiving best practices.
• Willingness to work at a Church and help teach through a biblical-based curriculum for older children.
• First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education settings is desirable.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
• Ability to create a nurturing environment that fosters growth and learning for all children.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential qualities for this role.
• Must be able to pass a level 3 background check that the Church we meet at processes.
