Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED
- Professional Certifications (HVAC certified, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional, etc.) preferred
- Must be able to bend and lift at least 50 lbs
- Must have a valid drivers license and automobile insurance
Do you enjoy working with people? Does the idea of keeping a facility and grounds in its best condition possible give you a sense of accomplishment? Crosspoint Human Services is currently looking for dedicated, creative, and motivated individual to join our Facility Maintenance Team!
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain and direct a preventative maintenance program for all-mechanical equipment, building & associated mechanical systems, and the vehicle fleet; and maintain a related recording system.
- Investigate maintenance-related problems or tasks and may seek outside consultative services to provide solutions.
- Recommend to Director of Facilities the purchase of equipment, or major repair services or services of outside tradesman as required.
- Assist in responding to a wide variety of internal and external inquires for the purpose of resolving problems, providing information, and/or referring to appropriate personnel.
- Personally, perform maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings, and grounds/landscaping
- Respond to physical plant emergencies as necessary during and after business hours.
- Provide training and back-up support for other maintenance technicians at all Crosspoint locations as assigned.
