Job Summary

We are seeking a Line Cook to join the team at our senior living memory care facility. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced, committed and ready to create an excellent experience for our residents. If you have a passion for creating meals that comfort and wow our senior citizens, we would love to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities :

Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of food according to standardized recipes and menus

Follow all sanitation and food safety regulations

Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner

Maintain clean kitchen and dishes

Ensure proper handling, labeling and storage of food for infection control

Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or management

Qualifications :

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

ServeSafe / Food Handlers Certification

Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes

Excellent time management skills

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
