Crossroads at Northglenn is looking for a hardworking Director of Dietary Services for our assisted living community. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following: menu planning, meal preparation, purchasing, scheduling of staff, maintaining budgets, staff hiring and retention, and maintaining a clean cooking environment. Youll make sure our kitchen is operating efficiently, making healthy delicious meals that also look visually appealing. Experience in food service is required. Experience in senior living is preferred.The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player, has experience in staff management and the ability to cook from scratch and prepare a variety of diets in accordance with State of Colorado regulations. Candidates must enjoy working in a fast-pace environment and have a desire to serve the elderly population.

Responsibilities
- Create menus according to both the current season and resident research
- Ready the kitchen with necessary tools and equipment
- Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
- Schedule and supervise staff and delegate tasks to other team members
- Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary
- Follow all food safety regulations in accordance with State of Colorado
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent preferred
- Senior living experience preferred
- ServSafe Dietary Manager certification preferred (required to get upon hire)
- Must enjoy working with the elderly
- Advanced understanding of State / Health Department regulations
- Ability to maintain a weekly and monthly budget
Salary : $57,000 - $62,000
