Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are actively seeking skilled Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technicians for our high-speed bottled water plant in Reading, PA. As a proud small business specializing in private-label bottled water, we are looking for dedicated team members to help us maintain our high standards!

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain production machines and packaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and programming issues on various equipment; determine corrective actions and return equipment back to service.
- Execute emergency and unscheduled repairs on production machines.
- Perform PMs on production equipment and facility.
- Repair/maintain supporting infrastructure systems - compressed air, cooling, water, HVAC, lighting, etc. as needed.
- Repair and maintain plant facilities including dock locks and levelers, doors, stairs, railings, floors, etc.
- Diagnose, replace, and/or repair malfunctions of motors, drives, and automation/robotics/PLCs.
- Perform housekeeping and sanitation duties as required.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in manufacturing, particularly in food/beverage sectors; knowledge of GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards is a plus.
- Ability to stand, move, bend, and walk for most of the shift. Must stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, bend, lift, reach, grasp, squat, crawl, use fingers, hands, and arms to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects.
- Lift 50-70 lbs. as needed.
- Capability to climb steps/ladders, work on elevated platforms, and/or use a scissor or boom lift.
- Ownership of basic hand tools to perform tasks.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Work Environment:
- 24/7, fast paced manufacturing and warehouse operations.
- Loud equipment and machinery, moving parts, forklift and pedestrian traffic.
- Not climate controlled – seasons are hot/cold on production floor.
- Proper PPE must be worn.
Schedule:
- DAYS: 5:45am – 6:00pm
- NIGHTS: 5:45pm – 6:00am
- 2-2-3 rotation, which includes every other Friday/Saturday/Sunday off
- Overtime availability
