Machine Operator

We are actively seeking skilled Machine Operators for our high-speed bottled water plant in Reading, PA. As a proud small business specializing in private-label bottled water, we operate 24/7, and we are looking for dedicated team members to help us maintain our high standards!

Primary Responsibilities

· Produce quality products that meet our customers’ specifications.

· Learn a variety of machines and their computer components, fill hoppers or spools with raw materials, perform quality checks, and ensure the machinery is operating correctly.

· Machine Operator positions are fast-paced, require a sense of urgency, and are in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing setting.

· Comply with all GMPs, SOPs, safety and company policies.

· Housekeeping duties and additional tasks as required by business needs.

Requirements

· Minimum 2 years of experience operating manufacturing machines, experience in food/beverage is a plus

· High school diploma or GED

· Unrestricted ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend, squat, crouch, climb stairs/ladders, push, pull, reach, grasp and twist throughout the shift.

· Capability to lift 50lbs frequently and repetitively throughout shift.

· Eagerness to cross-train, work overtime, or assist the team as directed.

· Ability to speak, read, and complete documents in English.

Work Environment:

· 24/7, fast paced manufacturing and warehouse operations.

· Noisy equipment and machinery, moving parts, forklift and pedestrian traffic.

· Not climate controlled – seasons are hot/cold on production floor.

· Proper PPE must be worn.

Schedule:

· NIGHTS only: 5:45pm – 6:00am

· 2-2-3 rotation, including every other Friday/Saturday/Sunday off

· Overtime availability
