Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, hallways, restrooms, and other facility areas.
- Ensure cleanliness of floors, windows, and furniture by dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Distribute clean linens and towels to residents’ rooms.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Follow safety and infection control protocols at all times.
- Respond to requests from residents and staff for cleaning services as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate staff member.
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Must be willing to undergo the Illinois Department of Public Health background check process
