WOODBURY KIDS PASTOR CROSSROADS CHURCH
Crossroads Church is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Kids Pastor to join our team. The Kids Pastor will oversee recruiting, training, and leading volunteers while ensuring the success of our children's programs and supporting families. Key responsibilities include communicating vision, coordinating schedules, nurturing family relationships, and empowering volunteers to share in the ministry's work. A relational leader with a passion for building strong teams and guiding kids toward Jesus will thrive in this role.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Recruit, schedule and train volunteers involved in CR Kids at the Woodbury Campus.
- Motivate and grow leaders who can manage classrooms and roles.
- Pastor the volunteers during pre-service huddles, impromptu and scheduled conversations, and through cards/calls/texts.
- Build and maintain relationships with parents and kids so they feel valued and cared for well.
- Foster welcoming environments through well-organized and friendly check-in teams and processes.
- Oversee all aspects of safety, programming, event design and delivery.
- Coordinate curriculum with the CR Kids team Kids Central Coordinator.
- Assist with welcoming and supporting new families to Crossroads.
- Support key initiatives or events such as VBS, Child Dedications, Baptisms, groups, or outreach.
- Attend required staff meetings (CR Kids, Woodbury, and all-campus).
- Attend Crossroads weekend services (in person or virtually) on a regular basis.
- Participate in campus activities and projects required by the Campus Pastor.

Environment
- Work is primarily performed indoors in an office setting.
- Occasionally, extra hours may be required throughout the year.
- Some travel may be necessary for events.
