As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant to join our team.
The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's receivables, ensuring timely collections, reconciling customer accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Management :
- Generate and issue customer invoices and statements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on past-due balances.
- Process incoming payments via various methods (checks, wire transfers, credit cards).
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to address and resolve billing disputes or payment delays.
- Issue customer credit memos as needed to adjust invoices or correct billing errors.
- Process customer refunds in accordance with company policies and procedures.
