What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Tech/Rad Tech - Radiology - Part time position at Crossroads Community Hospital?
Overview:
Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Responsible for special procedures, OR procedures, CT scans and related quality control monitoring as assigned. Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures. Ensures a high quality of images produced. Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas. May perform bone density and mammography procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education:
Evidence of Radiology Technology training from the United States Military or graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences is required.
Experience:
Two years experience as a staff technologist is preferred.
Licenses/Certificates:
ARRT certification is required. Illinois State IEMA certification required upon hire. CT registry preferred. Must possess current card from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross for Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers upon hire.
