About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the Educational Services industry. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. Your main goal will be to help individuals improve their communication and swallowing abilities, and to enhance their quality of life. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals of all ages
Experience working in an educational setting
Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
Responsibilities:
Conducting assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders
Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual needs
Providing therapy to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure effective treatment outcomes
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of treatment plans and progress
Skills:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team. Your skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning will be essential to your success in this role. Salary : $76,000
