The Production Associate assembles various products following detailed instructions per customer work orders to ensure products are created efficiently and correctly.
This is an entry level position performing entry level work. This work might entail assembly, order pulling, material handling (by hand or pallet jack), box crushing, block cutting, sewing, and hydraulic hose assembly.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Prefer one year’s experience working in a production setting (assembly, operations, warehousing).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Physical Demands: Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for entire work shift if needed.
Mental Demands: Using standard mental and visual attention continuously, with occasional periods of continuous alertness and concentration.
Hearing: The noise level on the production floor is occasionally loud and frequently moderate.

- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform work as assigned daily.
- Report all production, inventory, and facility issues to the Production Manager or area supervisor as quickly as possible.
- Report on all issues and concerns with production and facility equipment and tools to the Production Manager as quickly as possible.
- Ability to interact with clients and agency personnel in a professional manner.
- Ensure the safety of clients and always maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain excellent attendance.

- Complete all essential training within the first 30 days of hire.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, DOL and other safety standards as they pertain to production needs and operation of the facility.
