Company Summary: Crossroads is an Arizona Department of Health Services licensed substance abuse treatment provider with proven expertise in serving men, women, and Veterans with Substance Use Disorder through the provision of high quality, successful, and affordable residential and outpatient recovery programs.
Due to federal contracts the following items are prohibited: Medical/Recreational marijuana, current parole, or probation.
Job Summary: The Business Developer is organizationally responsible for identifying, evaluating, and presenting business opportunities for revenue growth. The position is responsible for providing support and representing the organization in collaborative meetings, workgroups, conferences, and other community events. The position is also responsible for system partner relationship management. The Business Developer works closely with the Executive Team in identifying and implementing business opportunities across the organization.

Essential Functions:
· Research and identify possible funding streams for Crossroads opportunities.
· Collaborates with the Executive Team to accomplish the strategy of the organization.
· Negotiates and advocates for Crossroads to county, state, political, and Medicaid partners.
· Initiate and plan meetings with high level community members advocating for the expansion of Crossroads reach and public support.
· Conducts presentations and workshops at conferences in relation to Crossroads services and outcomes.
· Attend conferences for purposes of networking, extending Crossroads reputation and identifying new opportunities within the communities Crossroads serves.
· Acts as the program front-facing organizational representative for government partnerships.
· Provides initial project management while working closely with staff to hand-off projects in process.
· Identifies and develops community programs with collaborative efforts for expanding Crossroads opportunities.
· Advocates and collaborates for program expansions by assisting with grants to be obtained that support Crossroads services and additional innovative programs.
· Initiates contact and maintains collaborative communication with outside agencies to provide community education as requested.
· Develops and maintains community relations documentation.
· Identify opportunities in new geographic locations.
· Perform other duties, as required.
Qualifications:
· Current CPR/First Aid/Narcan training.
· Current and annual negative TB Test.
· Current and valid Fingerprint Clearance Card, preferred.
· Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check performed annually and upon hire, preferred.
· Successfully pass a background check and an Arizona Department of Health Services Adult Protective Services check.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
Education & Experience:
· Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, required.
· 3 years related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment:
· Fast paced behavioral health corporate setting.
· Primarily indoors, however, some outdoor work may be requested.
Physical Demands:
· While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit and speak or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and seldom lift and/or move >100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Shift Requirements:
· Days, nights, weekends, holidays.
Travel:
· Valid AZ Driver’s License.
· May include travel between sites and other locations.
· Local and statewide travel when requested or required.
