Crossroads is seeking a person who loves the Lord and has a strong desire to see elementary-school children impacted by the gospel through after-school clubs in their region. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances, and a demonstrated commitment to pursuing excellence in all things.
This role is primarily a work-from-home position, and you will be building the Crossroads ministry in your community and region. Therefore, you must have the ability to meet with people in your area, to visit local Kids Clubs, and to host events near you in accordance with the job description below. In short, we are looking for people across the nation who will build and sustain thriving ministry where they live.
Position Aims
- To promote and launch new clubs by connecting with prospective church partners, recruiting volunteers, and walking them through the process from learning to commitment to launching a new club.
- To assist with hosting a variety of compelling events (e.g. vision dinners, financial partner events, and leader retreats).
- To encourage existing club leaders and enhance the quality and impact of each club in your region.
- To enhance the depth and breadth of financial support in your region.
Core Functions and Responsibilities
Connect with prospective new church partners. (40%)
- Assist with the development of lists of prospective churches.
- Manage and track contacts and relationships with prospective church partners.
- Mail and email information to prospective churches and schools.
- Follow up on leads via phone calls, texts, and emails in order to set appointments for yourself or other team members, or to drive attendance at an informational event.
- Conduct face-to-face and online meetings with church leaders to secure new club launch commitments.
- Manage relationships and communication with church leaders, in order to move them toward a commitment to starting a club and to prepare team leaders for a great onboarding experience.
- Assist with the initial training retreat experiences in your city and provide coaching and support to prospective club leaders both before and after the retreat.
Increase the financial base of support in your region through vision dinners and other events. (40%)
- Assume primary responsibility for growing the attendance by 15-20% at events from one year to the next.
- Recruit sufficient table hosts to meet attendance goals and work with those hosts to fill their tables with the right kinds of people (those potentially interested in partnering financially with Crossroads)
- Manage the invitation process.
- Secure local testimonies and speakers for events, as requested.
- Help to assess overall success of events and make recommendations for future events.
Deepen impact and club effectiveness by managing relationships with current clubs. (20%)
- Provide continuing support and encouragement for existing club leaders with regular calls, notes, and visits.
- Help assess the overall success and quality of existing clubs and collaborate on ways to deepen Crossroads impact at each location in your region.
- Visit each club in your region at least one time per year.
- Capture and share compelling photos and stories to share with donors and volunteer leaders.
Time Investment
- Part-Time: 8-12 hours per week

Experience and Skills Required
- Deep love for Jesus and his Church, and a commitment to the organization’s Statement of Faith and Statement of Christian Conduct
- Ability to think and operate in accordance with the organization’s core values.
- 3 years of experience working with children
- Presentation skills: public speaking and small group meetings.
- Comfort and ability working with a variety of people across cultures and age groups.
- Basic software/technical skills. Examples include:
- Zoom/Google Meet/Teams
- Google Workplace applications (e.g. Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
